A Little One

Its been a LONG time since I posted, so I thought I would post a few cute photos of a recent session I did. I have never shot a newborn session before, so I was unsure of what to expect, but I had such a great time! How did I do?

I have a lot of updates and exciting news to share soon, I can't wait to tell you!

p.s. Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the US! Be sure to eat an extra plate for me :)

great shots....love the specular lights in his eyes in that first shot. Those eyes are ALIVE! I have my first baby shoot coming up in a few weeks....any tips?? :)

Hey John! Thanks man! With that being my first newborn session EVER, I probably can't give you a TON of tips, but what I got out of it is that you really really really have to be patient. Once you realize that the baby is the one that makes the schedule, the better things will be :) I mean, its obvious, but it really helps to go in with lots of time and just keep shooting away. Always give breaks every few minutes, to the baby AND to the parents (this is new for them too right?), don't be obtrusive and don't be 'all up in the babies face'... give some space, if you want to get close just put on a zoom lens... imagine a camera the size of a refrigerator INCHES from your face... try keeping YOUR diapers clean! lol :)

let me know how it works out bud!

cheers!

This child is perhaps the cutest newborn I've ever seen. Those eyes! *sigh*

Beautiul job. Your client must have been so thrilled with these.
